Exciting news!
UMass Boston is proud to announce our partnership with the Massachusetts Appeals Court (MAC), bringing court sessions back to our campus. The court's educational mission aligns with our values, and we're honored to host their sessions for the sixth time on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 9:30am. During these sessions, a three-judge panel typically hears six cases, covering both criminal and civil matters. Each oral argument may last up to 30 minutes. This invaluable experience provides attendees interested in criminal justice, sociology, and political science with a firsthand opportunity to observe the judicial process and connect with court members, staff, and alumni actively involved in the court system.
