UMass Boston Introduces Fully Online Modality for Graduate Business Programs
The College of Management at the University of Massachusetts Boston has announced the launch of a new fully online modality option for its MBA, Master of Science in Accounting (MSA), and Master of Science in Finance (MSF) graduate programs. This initiative is for professionals in the Boston area and beyond, providing them the flexibility to pursue advanced education at a reasonable cost while balancing their careers and personal commitments.
“With this expansion of our graduate programs into the online sphere, the College of Management reaffirms its commitment to fostering student success by meeting the evolving needs of today's learners,” said Venky Venkatachalam, dean of the College of Management. “This online modality option opens doors for individuals who seek to advance their careers without compromising on quality education.”
In addition to the online modality, the college has made significant investments in other areas, including the appointment of a dedicated director of career services. Recognizing the importance of networking and industry connections in today's competitive job market, this strategic move underscores the college's commitment to making sure students not only get a top-notch education, but build relationships with potential employers.
Prospective students are encouraged to explore the diverse specializations offered within the MBA program, as well as the opportunities presented by the MSA and MSF programs. The MBA program offers 11 specialization options, with five of them - Accounting, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Finance, and Marketing - offered fully online.
The college has all the tools and resources ready for professionals to thrive in their chosen fields. To learn more, join an online info session during our Virtual Spring Showcase, April 8-11, 2024.
