Uncharted - Healey Library Adventure
Each month we're highlighting uncharted locations at UMass Boston! This month's hidden gem is the Healey Library.
Named after Joseph P. Healey, who is a former UMass Boston chairman and trustee, the library has over 58,000 books and a large network of research material through UMBrella. It's one of the highest points on campus and has over 12 floors. The 6th floor is one of the more popular areas for students to study as it's considered the quiet/silent study area.
Librarians are available 24/7 via text to help students with finding books, data, and other material. If you are unable to find what you need at Healey Library, with your UMass Boston ID you can borrow books from other colleges and universities within the Boston area. Next time you are at UMass Boston, come discover Healey Library!
